You never have a second chance to make a good first impression. Bella Collina is pleased to invite you the second season of Cotillion presented by Addington Cotillion. The second season of cotillion will be held every second Wednesday of the month from October 2017 through April 2018. 

Second and third grade will meet at 4:30-5:45pm.
Fourth and fifth grade will meet at 6:00-7:15pm.

What to expect:

This month is all about getting acquainted.  Entering unfamiliar settings can cause anxiety. Instruction starts with an explanation of the format of our program. This sets expectations – a sure fire way to reduce the jitters.In the Third Grade, the minute the children hear that they will not be paired up to dance during the first session, there is an audible sigh of relief.  Now that we have the children’s attention, we cover the basics of  Introductions.  They are taught to introduce themselves with grace.In the Fourth and Fifth grade classes we add a level of complexity to their Introduction skills and they are taught to introduce two additional people. Conversation starters are also covered.In addition,  the children get to try on their dancing shoes with the Waltz box step.  We invite parents and siblings to join us on the dance floor to finish the program with the Twist.
