Dr. Pepper Braised Short Ribs
Ingredients:
- 5 Pounds Short Ribs
- 2 Cups Onions
- 1 Cup Celery
- 1 Liter Beef Broth
- 1 Ounce Garlic
- 1 Ounce Fresh Thyme
- 3 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika
- Pinch of Salt & Pepper
- 4 Cans Dr. Pepper
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
Directions:
- Cut Short Ribs into chunks and season with Smoked Paprika, Salt, and Pepper.
- Add Flour and Pan Roast until Golden Brown
- Add Onions, Celery, Garlic, and Thyme and sauté for 5 minutes
- Add Beef Broth and Dr. Pepper and Braise for 1.5 hours at 350F
Pairs well with Mashed Potatoes, Soft Polenta, or White Rice
