Dr. Pepper Braised Short Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 5 Pounds Short Ribs
  • 2 Cups Onions
  • 1 Cup Celery
  • 1 Liter Beef Broth
  • 1 Ounce Garlic
  • 1 Ounce Fresh Thyme
  • 3 Tablespoons Smoked Paprika
  • Pinch of Salt & Pepper
  • 4 Cans Dr. Pepper
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour

Directions:

  1. Cut Short Ribs into chunks and season with Smoked Paprika, Salt, and Pepper.
  2. Add Flour and Pan Roast until Golden Brown
  3. Add Onions, Celery, Garlic, and Thyme and sauté for 5 minutes
  4. Add Beef Broth and Dr. Pepper and Braise for 1.5 hours at 350F

Pairs well with Mashed Potatoes, Soft Polenta, or White Rice
